Hardwood logs
We supply both naturally seasoned and kiln dried hardwood logs to customers living in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Borders.
Our time seasoned hardwood logs are sourced locally and responsibly from Edinburgh and the Lothians and have been seasoned for a minimum of 12 months before being split and stored in a well ventilated area providing a consistent, high quality product. Well seasoned hardwood is extremely efficient and burns cleanly and slowly on open fires and wood burning stoves.
Our kiln dried hardwood logs are perfect for the sometimes damp Scottish winter and are dried below 18% thus ensuring a consistent and easy heat from your fire.

Our logs are harvested from a variety of hardwood species including Beech, Sycamore, Ash, Oak, Alder and Birch and are not delivered to you until the final ready to burn level falls below 22% moisture content.
On average our logs are 22 – 24cm in length, 8cm in diameter and supplied in large bulk bags, barrow bags and re-sealable nets.
Large Bulk Bags
Our hardwood bulk bags are extremely well filled and offer fantastic value for money. The bags are vented and breathable allowing further log seasoning. We will always ensure that your logs are delivered and left in a safe and secure area. All we ask is that we can take the empty bag away with us or pick it up on the next delivery.
Our large bulk bags are 0.90m x 0.90m x 0.90m in size and capacity.
Barrow Bags
These bags are extremely useful in storage constrained areas and offer a clean and tidy solution for storing logs. Their dimensions are 90cm x 45cm x 45cm and have a rain lid on top keeping any additional moisture to a minimum if kept outside.
Kiln Dried Log Nets
We recognise that it is not always possible to accommodate bulk bags so we are pleased to offer handy and convenient kiln dried log nets that that can be stored in multiple locations. Each net contains 100% hardwood logs roughly 22cm in length with a moisture content between 15 – 18%. Each order contains 10 of these well filled 22cm x 50cm re-sealable nets.

Kindling
Our 5kg bags of kindling contain dry and well seasoned cut wood which will make lighting your fire a more pleasant and enjoyable experience. Kindling is supplied in individual 40cm x 52cm re-sealable nets.
Waxlings
A bag of 40 natural firelighters. Waxlings are made from wood wool soaked in candle and beeswax. They are clean and odourless with a long combustion time making lighting your fire effortless. Using one Waxling to start your fire may just mean that you get to read the entire newspaper and not have to sacrifice a page or two to get that fire going on a cold and wet winter evening!
Kindling and Waxlings are available to purchase online alongside any other log bundle, wood pellet or briquette order.
